Have a question?
Here are answers to common questions about document services, project workflow, and how we work together.
If you don’t see your question here, you’re welcome to reach out.
What do you actually do?
I provide document clarity and formatting services that improve structure, readability, organization, and usability of documents. My focus is on how documents are designed and function, not on changing the content or policies behind them.
Do you write or create legal or policy language?
No. Clients must provide all finalized legal, policy, or regulated language. My role is limited to formatting, structure, and presentation improvements.
What types of documents do you work with?
I work with structured materials commonly used in legal, healthcare, and other regulated environments, including:
Forms and packets
Multi-page document sets
Fillable PDF documents
Structured workflows and formatted templates
Do you provide editable Word files?
Editable Word files are available as an optional add-on and are quoted separately. Standard delivery includes polished PDF files.
How much do services cost?
Projects are quoted based on document type and complexity. Typical categories include:
Single Document (1–3 pages)
Multi-Page Packet (4–10 pages)
Complex Document Sets (custom quote)
A written quote is provided before work begins.
How does payment work?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon completion and before final files are delivered.
Are payments refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable. Final payments are non-refundable once final files have been delivered.
How many revisions are included?
Each project includes one round of minor revisions. Additional revisions or requests outside the agreed scope may incur additional fees.
Do you offer ongoing updates?
Yes. Simple updates (such as dates or small text changes) are billed at a minimum update fee of $75. Larger changes may require a revised quote.
How long does a project take?
Typical turnaround is 3–7 business days depending on project complexity and client response times. Timelines begin once all required materials are received.
